When do entries open online?
Entries for The 2023 Spider Awards are now closed.
How do I nominate a website online?
To nominate your website or company, you’ll need to follow the on-screen instructions once nominations are open. If you have any problems with your nomination, contact a member of the Spiders team who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Is there a time frame within which the website has to have been published?
There is no restriction on the date your website was published.
Who can enter?
Anyone with a website that has content applicable to the Irish/Northern Irish market can enter the Awards.
Can I withdraw my entry? Will I get a refund?
You may withdraw your entry by emailing chiara@thespiders.ie. However, you will not receive a refund as entries are reviewed at any point following submission.
How can I change my entry?
The following information can be changed on an entry at any time before the closure date by contacting us at info@thespiders.ie:
- Contact info
- URL – The URL can be changed only if it is the same work that has won/shortlisted or if it has not yet been reviewed.
- Category – A category change will be granted as long as the site has not yet been reviewed by the panel of judges.
How can I be sure you have received my entry?
You will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt of your entry. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please email chiara@thespiders.ie.
Can I enter in more than one category?
Yes! Many entrants submit work in multiple categories when applicable.
What is the cost for an Entry?
- Single entry – €100 + 23% VAT
- 4 for 5 entries – €400 + 23% VAT
Charities can enter free of charge, please contact a member of the team to avail of this offer.
When are the winners of the Spiders 2023 will be announced?
On March 3rd 2023, in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin.
What is the cost for the Ceremony Award?
A table of 10 people is €3000 + VAT (Early Bird offer valid until February 7th).
